Specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and EMDR

EMDR in Indianapolis
After working in campus ministry for three years, I started to realize my passion for serving others. I loved accompanying students on their journeys to become the men and women that they are called to be. I decided to continue my education in Mental Health Counseling so that I could meet people where they are at and work with them through some of their most difficult trials. As a therapist, I am amazed at the insight and strength of those that I work with, and I hope to help my clients find lasting peace and joy.

I use a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and EMDR, which has been highly recommended for those suffering from trauma, but I’ve found it helpful for just about everyone. I have worked with adults, adolescents, couples and families, and groups to address issues such as depression and anxiety; trauma; grief and loss; co-occurring disorders; engagement and marital counseling; and perinatal (during pregnancy), postpartum (after pregnancy), and post-abortion counseling. I am bilingual (Spanish-speaking) and am able to provide services in both languages. I am also pursuing training to become a Star Behavioral Health Provider so that I may better cater to service members and their families- which is so needed in our community! As a Catholic-Christian, I enjoy bringing spirituality into our session if the client desires.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, crossword puzzles, jogging, and curling up with a good book. Do not postpone reaching out for help! You have the answers already- let’s work together to find them.
